1. Expert Witness & Litigation Support
Independent Expert Reports – Preparation of technical reports for litigation, arbitration, and tribunals (e.g., CPR 35 compliant reports for UK courts).

Façade System Investigations – Technical assessments of external wall materials, cavity barriers, and cladding systems.
Post-Incident Fire Investigations – Analysis of cause, development, and spread of fire events to support claims or future design improvements.
Remediation Design Support – Advice on materials, system selection, and compliance pathways for façade replacement and fire-safety upgrades.
Thomas Carpentier
Thomas Carpentier has over 15 years’ industry experience, working as a fire safety engineer in Australia, the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates. Having successfully delivered projects in the education, health care, residential, commercial, retail, oil & gas, community, food processing, heritage and defence sectors, Thomas has developed a thorough understanding of the challenges associated with fire safety, and has demonstrated expertise in resolving issues using performance based solutions.
Following the Lacrosse Tower fire in Melbourne (Australia), Thomas was involved in the development of a risk assessment tool to evaluate the level of safety of external walls, in coordination with the Victoria State Government. He has provided external wall assessment services for buildings across the United Kingdom and implemented the PAS 9980 assessment methodology. Thomas also delivers lectures and presentations on external wall safety to clients and universities throughout the UK and Europe.
He is a certified Expert Witness and has acted as Expert Witness on multiple fire safety claims.
